Where the truck wears Lederhosen

This splendid guy drives in a pair of Bavarian Lederhosen and classic blue and white chequered beer on the streets of Southern Germany. This Show truck was designed by Passau-based Josef Paul GmbH, which together with Paul Nutzfahrzeuge is part of the Paul Group. Every year the Commercial Vehicle Service Centre organises the Paul Truckerfrühschoppen (Paul Trucker Breakfast Pint). The show of the vehicles that the company builds and rebuilds is attended by 10,000 visitors. The event in 2019 was held under the theme Trachten. This gave rise to the idea of “dressing” an Actros in a proper way. After several months of intensive planning, fiddling around and construction, the “Trachtentruck” was born: it was elaborately foiled and even equipped with a Gamsbart and Charivari, the typical Bavarian jewellery chain. A beverage supplier secured the vehicle and had a matching trailer designed.
