On 96 wheels to the destination

12 axles of the company BPW Bergische Achsen KG and 96 wheels of a self-propelled heavy-duty module were directed by the employee of Hofmann Kran-Vermietung GmbH & Co. KG used his control panel for this transport: When these 63.50-meter rotor blades were driven to a wind turbine in the Saarlouis district, he ran behind the transporter to skillfully maneuver it past obstacles such as lampposts, power lines and closely packed houses. The transport took around three hours to cover the seven-kilometer distance, with four Hofmann employees accompanying it. The company has been operating as a truck-mounted crane rental company since 1962 and is regarded as a strong partner, particularly by manufacturers of wind turbines and companies in the reinforced concrete construction or large-scale industry sectors, whose technical equipment can cope with even the heaviest loads, high unit weights and large dimensions.
