Between poverty and upswing

India’s economy is growing, but this is not yet visible in the means of transport that can be seen on many roads: Old tractors like the one proudly presented by a local in the state of Rajasthan are being used in agriculture. The tank truck, which is also already very dilapidated, is used as a watering place for cattle. Motorcycles, on the other hand, embody progress. They are the most important vehicle of change, as they not only offer independence at an affordable price, but also open up new opportunities: if you have a two-wheeler, you can take a job for which you have to ride on.
