A Porsche with 40 hp

Long before Porsche put the legendary 911 sports car on the road, the Swabian automobile company produced diesel tractors with two cylinders, 40 hp, a top speed of 25 km/h – and BPW axles. In the German town Wiehl such a gem has been owned for almost 60 years by a family that ran an agricultural business until the year 2000: The grandfather bought the bright red tractor in 1961; the Porsche diesel tractor was in use for almost four decades. The son, a trained locksmith, helps out with maintenance and repair work. Now the cult tractor travels regularly to classic car events. There are many offers to buy, but the owners do not give this treasure away at all – for them it is like a family member.
